LONG LIVE THE VICTORIOUS 37th ANNIVERSARY OF THE PEOPLE’S WAR IN PERU!

The Peru People’s Movement gives its unconditional salute, being subject to our Great Leadership Chairman Gonzalo, Great leader of the Party and the revolution, the greatest living Marxist-Leninist-Maoist on the face of the Earth, center of Party unity and guarantee of triumph until communism; to our all-powerful ideology Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, Gonzalo thought, mainly Gonzalo thought; to the heroic combatant, the Communist Party of Peru and its Central Committee that all-embracingly leads the people’s war, beacon and guide of the world proletarian revolution, to the militants, combatants and masses who fight against imperialism, reaction and revisionism, as part of the World Proletarian Revolution, and to all the masses who give their lives in the whole world to finish off this rotten system.

We celebrate this victorious 37th anniversary of the initiation of the people’s war in Peru with maximum revolutionary optimism, a people’s war that advances unstoppably by solving the new problems in two line struggle on the march towards the conquest of power in the whole country, and that develops within the strategic offensive of the world proletarian revolution, with the Central Committee being the vortex of the struggle, adhering firmly to the principles and upholding, defending and, mainly, applying Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, Gonzalo thought, mainly Gonzalo thought.

The international situation, on the side of the people, is characterized by a growing revolutionary situation expressed in the struggles of the masses all over the world, both in the colonial and semicolonial countries and in the imperialist powers (Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, England etc.) and imperialist superpowers (U.S.A., China and Russia), showing that the revolution is the main historical and political tendency and its highest expression are the people’s wars and armed struggles under the banner of Maoism like in Peru, India, Philippines, Turkey and other places. A big problem in all these struggles is the dark influence of revisionism.

On the side of the reaction, imperialism is facing its final crisis with more imperialist genocidal war. The hegemony of the Yankee superpower is being threatened by China and Russia. These three superpowers are carrying out a new redivision of the world in collusion and struggle. Russia and China come from the restoration of capitalism and use revisionism and certain leaders taking the capitalist road in Nepal, India, Philippines etc., to promote “peace accords”, amnesty and parliamentary cretinism, i.e. capitulation before imperialism and domestic reaction. This is the dark role of revisionism and of the leaders who take the capitalist road; to divert the struggles of the masses from the conquest of power and use their struggles and their blood to find a place within the old state.

In Peru, the final crisis of imperialism and the interimperialist struggle are manifested in a greater deepening of the bureaucratic road and its crisis, sharpening the contradiction nation-imperialism. For example, in less than fifteen years, the mining concessions have gone from taking up 6% of the national territory to more than 20% today. At the same time the living conditions of the people are worsening, and in this reality the people’s war advances with the PCP leading the struggles of the masses, from the struggles for demands to the highest expression of this struggle, the People’s war.

The people’s war in Peru is developed against the Yankee superpower as the main enemy, against bureaucrat capitalism and semifeudalism, warding off the entrance of other imperialist powers or superpowers. Meanwhile, new revisionism, the ROL and the LOL, just like in Nepal and other places works to prepare the entrance of other imperialist superpowers or powers, with the pretext of a “tactical alliance” with a “good” or “less evil” imperialism, or even try to confuse the masses calling the superpowers China and Russia “socialist” or “anti-imperialist”. New revisionism, the ROL (Movadef) in Peru, also upholds parliamentary cretinism, the “peaceful road” to socialism, the “peace accords”, to try to undermine and divert the Communist Parties and the people’s wars from the conquest of power for the class and the people.

This year, when we communists of the whole world celebrate the centenary of the October Revolution, we reaffirm ourselves in what the PCP put forward in the eighties, that we are in the strategic offensive of the world proletarian revolution (We Are the Initiators), that the revolution in Peru is part of the world proletarian revolution and serves, by developing people’s war, the new Great Wave of the World Proletarian Revolution, crushing the general counterrevolutionary offensive headed by Yankee imperialism. With the firm commitment to apply proletarian internationalism and to combat revisionism, old and new, as the main danger.

In Peru, the PCP is aiming for the highest of Maoism in the unstoppable march towards our final goal communism, the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution, as the CC of the PCP pointed out in 2015, the world proletarian revolution requires: “It is necessary to reconstitute Communist Parties that are clearly defined and apply the highest of Maoism, which is the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution. Look at the experience of the Chinese and Russian revolutions and the capitulation in Nepal at the gates of the conquest of power; we must pay special attention to this and learn the lesson. […] We also consider that the revolution in Nepal did not solve the conquest of power fully and completely for the proletariat, or the continuation of revolution through Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution. This led them to capitulate, to parliamentary cretinism just like their twin, the ROL in Peru.”

We call all the communists to arm ourselves with Maoism to get out in front and combat – within our ranks – the followers of the capitalist road, bombarding the bourgeois headquarters, fighting against capitulation. Only in this way, in hard two-line struggle, implacably combating old and new revisionism, we will be able to advance in the unity of the International Communist Movement, create a great anti-imperialist movement and with people’s war reach the golden communism.
