Proletarians of All Countries, Unite! UNITE THE PEOPLES AGAINST THE IMPERIALIST AGGRESSION!
The Peru People’s Movement, generated organ of the Communist Party of Peru, condemns and crushes with glowing class hatred Yankee imperialism’s aggression against Venezuela and Iran, which is part of its hegemonist plan and its desperate, aggressive genocide campaign – in collusion and struggle with the other imperialist superpowers and powers – against the oppressed nations all over the world. Applying the universal ideology of the proletariat, Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, principally Maoism, and the universal contributions of Chairman Gonzalo, we reaffirm ourselves in that the contradiction imperialism-oppressed nations today is the principal contradiction in the world, and in that without conquering and defending its national sovereignty, independence and self-determination – uniting with the international proletariat and the peoples of the world against imperialism – an oppressed people cannot advance in its struggles and overthrow their exploiters and oppressors. We denounce and condemn the Yankee aggression against the nation of Venezuela; aggression that is part of the inter-imperialist struggle for world hegemony and natural resources, but which is mainly part of the genocidal war of Yankee imperialism – and imperialism as a whole – against the oppressed peoples. We also denounce and condemn the criminal collaboration of the Venezuelan regime with this imperialist aggression; a regime of the state of bureaucratic capitalism which, in the midst of its path to “change masters” and collaborate with Chinese imperialism, has continued to allow Yankee imperialist exploitation of the country. This is yet another example of how oppressed peoples cannot count on their bureaucratic and comprador bourgeoisies to defend their countries, but must rely on their own forces and form a people’s front of national liberation, arming the masses to defend their country. The current imperialist aggression against Venezuela, Cuba, and all of Latin America further sharpens the contradiction between oppressed nations and imperialism, inevitably generating more combativeness and popular resistance throughout the continent. In this process, it is becoming increasingly clear that in order to develop and bring national liberation to its conclusion, the leadership of the proletariat is needed to unite and arm the classes of the people against imperialist exploitation and oppression. The peoples of Latin America have centuries of experience in anti-colonial and anti-imperialist armed struggle from which they must learn, and it is particularly important for the proletarian and popular forces to learn from the experience of the Communist Party of Peru and the People's War in Peru, as we are already seeing in Brazil and elsewhere. We also denounce and condemn the threat of US imperialism against Iran, where the imperialists and their runt, the genocidal Zionist state, use and manipulate internal contradictions to weaken, destroy, and subjugate the country, the state of Iran, that—despite its bourgeois and reactionary character—stands up to US imperialism and the genocide in Palestine and throughout the region for its own preservation. Everything indicates that the vast majority of the Iranian people, regardless of whether they support the government or not, are first and foremost committed to defending the country and the entire region against imperialism and genocide. In the face of the imminent threat of Yankee imperialism, the proletariat and the people must unite with all the forces that are committed to defending the country. If they seek to advance their struggles—against the bourgeoisie and for their rights and demands—through collaboration with imperialism or by allowing imperialist infiltration and manipulation, they will not be able to defend their national sovereignty, unite the people, or join with the other oppressed peoples to liberate themselves from imperialist domination. This is valid for all peoples fighting for national liberation or to overthrow their oppressors. If they treat their struggle as separate from the global struggle against imperialism; if they seek to achieve their own goals by submitting to imperialism, thereby betraying the global national liberation movement, they will not be able to liberate themselves and will lose the support of the peoples of the world. This is what we see in the case of Kurdistan, where the just struggle of the Kurdish people—for their national liberation and against the oppression of the reactionary states in the region—has been betrayed by their revisionist and reactionary leaders, who have sold their forces as mercenaries of imperialism and justified this with reactionary propaganda about “Western democracy” and “the fight against Islamism.” Now, when the other lackeys of imperialism in Syria attack the Kurdish population, it is confirmed once again that the oppressed cannot rely on agreements with the imperialists, but that every liberation struggle must be based on its own forces and on unity with the international proletariat and the oppressed peoples of the world. Therefore, we also denounce and condemn the dark role of revisionism in these events. The social-chauvinist revisionists in the imperialist countries hypocritically “support the protests” in Iran by unreservedly repeating the propaganda of the Yankee and Zionist perpetrators of genocide. Revisionists who, under the pretext of “fighting Islamism,” paint the oppressed nations as enemies of ‘democracy’ and promote the hoax of “Western democracy” to legitimize imperialism and its wars. And on the other hand, revisionists who promote the hoax of a “multipolar world” serving the interests of Chinese and Russian imperialism, proposing the division of the world among the superpowers— “peaceful coexistence”—instead of national liberation and the destruction of imperialism. It is the duty of the communists, revolutionaries, and anti-imperialists around the world to support every movement, every struggle, every war of national liberation that fights imperialism as the main enemy, and not to allow the bloodsucking, genocidal imperialists to use other contradictions to divert and manipulate the peoples. Wherever the proletariat does not yet lead the national liberation struggle, this task remains pending; and that does not change the fact that, temporarily, in some nations, other classes may lead just anti-imperialist struggles that serve the world revolution. However, in order to bring national liberation to its conclusion, it must inevitably be led by the proletariat through its Marxist-Leninist-Maoist and militarized Communist Party, building the united front and the new power, developing the people's war to complete the democratic revolution, continuing it without interruption as a socialist revolution, finally crushing and sweeping imperialism from the face of the earth and, with cultural revolutions, marching together with all humanity toward communism, the society without classes and without the exploitation of man by man.
